GETTING HERE

Thanya Beach Resort is located in the Andaman Sea, within the southern province of Krabi.  Thanya Beach Resort can only be reached by boat but we offer various pick up services from surrounding islands or nearby airports. 

ARRIVING BY AIR

Trang Airport

This is our closest airport with daily flights from Bangkok's Don Meung Airport with Nok Air, Air Asia and Thai Lion Air.  It is recommended to arrive on the morning flights as the Sea can be choppy in the afternoons.  We can arrange for pick up from the airport to Koh Ngai island.  The drive from the airport to Pak Meng Pier is approximately 45 minutes and the long tail boat ride is 45 minutes depending on the waves.  The total transfer time is under 2 hours.

Krabi Airport

Alternatively guests can fly into Krabi International Airport from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport as well as direct flights from Denmark, Chiang Mai, Koh Samui, Singapore and Kuala Lumpar. Krabi airport is approximately 1 hour 40 mins from Pak Meng Pier.  The total transfer time is approximately 2.5 hours.

While it is possible to make your own transfer arrangements to Pak Meng pier, we do not recommend it due to the logistics involved. Please be sure to inform the resort in advance of your arrival time, whether you book directly with us or not to avoid long waiting times and other unforeseen inconveniences.

ARRIVING BY SEA

Guests can arrive from surrounding islands including Koh Mook, Koh Kradan or Koh Lipe either by long tail boat or speedboat.  Your hotel should be able to arrange this for you or should you wish for us to arrange, please contact us. 

​

For other locations, we recommend using either Bundhaya Speedboats or Garden Hill Speedboats.
